Tomorrow is the first in a 4 day road trip with mom to Crossed Sabres Ranch - wahoo! We intend to drive the 12 or so hours to Bozeman, MT where we'll set up camp (in a hotel) for the night. Then it's on to Yellowstone where we'll pay Old Faithful a visit and most likely do some birding/nature watching. If I had my choice, we'd head down to Jackson Hole to spend the night, but as it is, our second night arrangements are still up in the air. I suppose spontaneity does make for killer road trips. The third night will find us in Cody, WY after a stop at the ranch so that mom can take a gander. Come Thursday morning, mom will fly on home to Seattle while I head back to the Ranch to begin my summer adventure.
If you find yourself really missing me, this is the place where you will find updates, stories, pictures, and general ruminations. Please post! Since the ranch doesn't offer cell phone service this is the best way for me to stay up to date on all of the sweet things that are sure to happen in all of your lives this summer. I'll check back in from the road and until then....
